We are Ever-power Australia Mower Gearbox — a specialist manufacturer of right-angle bevel gearboxes, disc mower hub drives, and rotary tiller transmissions for the global agricultural industry. For over 20 years, we have dedicated our entire operation to one purpose: engineering gearboxes that farmers and contractors can depend on, season after season, in the toughest conditions on earth.

We started as a small gear-cutting workshop with a single Gleason machine and a handful of skilled machinists. Today, we operate a vertically integrated, ISO 9001:2015 certified production facility spanning over 15,000 square metres — housing 28 CNC machining centres, 12 dedicated gear production lines, automated heat treatment furnaces, a precision grinding department, and a climate-controlled metrology laboratory equipped with Zeiss coordinate measuring machines and Gleason gear analyzers.

Forging & Material Preparation

We start with 20CrMnTi alloy steel billets, verified by spectroscopic analysis. Gear blanks are closed-die forged to align grain flow with tooth roots — increasing bending fatigue strength by 30% over cast alternatives. Every heat of steel arrives with an EN 10204 Type 3.1 mill certificate.

CNC Gear Cutting

Our 12 Gleason CNC gear generators cut spiral bevel tooth profiles to AGMA Class 8-10 accuracy. Each gear pair is generated as a matched set with optimised tooth contact patterns — verified on Gleason gear analyzers before moving to heat treatment.

Heat Treatment

Gas carburising furnaces achieve 1.0-1.5 mm case depth with HRC 58-62 surface hardness while maintaining a tough, ductile core. We monitor every cycle per CQI-9 standards and verify results with Vickers micro-hardness mapping on each production batch.

Precision Machining & Grinding

Housings are 5-axis CNC machined to ISO IT6 bore tolerance. All bearing seats are finish-bored to ensure interference fit. Post-hardening gear grinding achieves Ra 0.5 micrometre surface finish, reducing running-in wear and extending the interval to first service.

Assembly & Sealing

Trained technicians hand-assemble each gearbox in a temperature-controlled environment. Bearings are installed via induction heating for precise interference fit. Multi-lip FKM/NBR seals are seated using purpose-built fixtures, and each unit is filled with EP90 gear oil to the correct level.

Testing & Quality Gate

Every gearbox undergoes 100% CMM dimensional inspection, hydrostatic housing leak test at 1.5x rated pressure, and a 15-minute no-load run-in to verify smooth rotation, seal integrity, and correct oil level. Only after passing all gates does a unit receive its laser-etched serial number and packing release.
