  1. Connect the PTO drive shaft to the gearbox input spline. Push the shaft on fully and verify it telescopes freely through the complete range of three-point hitch travel.
  2. After the first 10 hours of operation, re-torque all mounting bolts to specification and verify oil level. Perform the first oil drain and refill at 50 hours.
  3. Disconnect the tractor PTO shaft and safely support the mower implement on jack stands or blocks before beginning the gearbox installation procedure.
  4. For units weighing over 25 kg, use a chain hoist, engine crane, or two-person lift to position the gearbox. Never attempt to lift heavy gearboxes solo.
  5. Fill the gearbox with the recommended gear oil (SAE 80W-90 or 85W-140 EP) to the level indicated on the sight glass or dipstick. Do not overfill.
